Repeat Offender Arrested for Stealing Urn with Remains

(RENO, Nev.) -- Reno police have arrested a woman they describe as being a repeat offender on a slew of charges.

Meredith O'Flaherty was arrested on Tuesday and charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of possession of stolen property, one count of possession of a stolen motor vehicle and one count of obtaining money under false pretenses.

Police said O'Flaherty was held in connection with a series of burglaries, including one in which she allegedly stole an urn that contained the remains of a man who was a long-time casino employee in Reno. The suspect was allegedly spotted driving a stolen vehicle and later arrested at the residence of an acquaintance.
