Two Lanes of US 395 Shut Down Due to Accident

(RENO, Nev.) -- Two lanes of northbound U.S. 395, south of the Damonte Ranch Parkway interchange, are closed following an accident, Nevada Highway Patrol spokesperson Chuck Allen told The Reno Gazette-Journal.

Allen said a car that stopped to assist a stopped vehicle caused the car behind it to hit it. Allen expects the lanes to remain closed for at least a half-hour while tow trucks come to remove the build-up. There are reports of injuries, but the extent of them is not known at this moment.
