Two People Injured in Rollover Crash Near Fernley

(RENO, Nev.) -- Two people were seriously injured Monday after a vehicle rolled over near Fernley.

The Reno Gazette Journal reports that the crash occurred about 11 a.m. on U.S. 50, about eight miles south of Fernley. Nevada Highway troopers arrived on the scene, where they found a blue 1995 Mercury Villager van that had rolled over onto its roof.

David B. Spencer, 43, and Samantha K. Ton, 44, both of Silver Springs, were flown to Renown Regional Medical Center with injuries. Their condition is unknown.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
