Police ID Victim in Fatal Car Crash
(SALT LAKE CITY) -- Police on Sunday released the identity of a man killed in a car crash on Friday, according to the Salt Lake Tribune.
Ray Brailsford, 43, was sitting in the rear seat of a Hyundai sedan when a Jeep Commander struck the rear of the car around 10 p.m. at 700 East and 3300 South. Brailsford died when the Hyundai then sprung into a third car upon impact.
Police say another passenger in the Hyundai remains in the hospital in critical condition. The driver is expected to be released from the hospital, police said.
There was no word on whether the driver of the Jeep Commander will face charges.
