Alleged Beer Theft Leads to Chase, Crashes into Home

(HOLLADAY, Utah) -- Police are searching for a female suspect who eluded capature following a chase, which ended with a crash in Holladay on Thursday morning.

The chase reportedly started after the suspect allegedly stole a quantity of beer from a store and fled. Officials said the suspect vehicle eventually crashed into the garage of a home in the vicinity of 1900 East and 4600 South. The suspect reportedly then exited the vehicle and broke into a neighboring home, however, when police responded to the home, the woman managed to elude the officers.

Authorities are searching for Allyson Vavro in connection with their investigation.
