A family of six was living in the home.<br /><br />When firefighters arrived on scene, a 25-year-old man was still missing inside the home. The firefighters located him in the basement, unconscious but breathing, says the <em>Tribune</em>.<br /><br />The man was taken to a nearby hospital before being flown to Intermountain Medical Center. <p>According to police, the man entered the Chase Bank, located at 290 South 1300 East, at approximately 2 p.m. He passed a note to the bank teller demanding money. The teller handed over some cash, and the suspect fled the bank on foot. He was last seen headed west.</p>
<p>He is described as a white male standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds. He wears glasses and may have red hair, though at the time of the robbery he was wearing a baseball cap.&nbsp; He was last seen wearing a sweatshirt that said &ldquo;metro mix&rdquo; on the front.</p>
<p>Police are asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of the suspect to call (801) 799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by texting TIPSLCPD plus information to CRIMES 274637.</p>

<p>The five people, three men and two women, were all family members.</p>
<p>Troopers believe that the driver, a 19-year-old female, fell asleep at the wheel of the Ford Explorer. The vehicle was thought to be traveling at nearly 90 mph when it drifted off the road at 6:30 p.m., just north of Grantsville, Utah.</p>
<p>Only one passenger, a 38-year-old female, was wearing a seatbelt. The three men, ranging in age from 20 to 25, were all ejected from the car. They were critically injured and air lifted to area hospitals. The two women, who were less critically injured, were taken by ambulance.</p>

The man was sideswiped with the side-view mirror of a semi-trailer.<br /><br />According to the <em>Tribune, t</em>he victim was taken by ambulance to Delle, Utah, and was later taken to University Hospital in Salt Lake City. The intruder reportedly told the couple that he had a handgun.<br /><br />The suspect refused to surrender to officers, and when negotiations with SWAT failed, the officers released tear gas canisters. The <em>Tribune </em>reports that the suspect was taken into custody without further incident.<br /><br />No injuries were reported in the standoff.</p>
<p>Later, police discovered the suspect did not have a weapon. <p>Around 3:40 p.m., the girls, ages 9, 10, and 14, used the crosswalk near 700 W. Wasatch Street while on their way home from school.</p>
<p>That&rsquo;s when the 28-year-old driver of a Mazda Prot&eacute;g&eacute; drove through the crosswalk, hitting all three girls.</p>
<p>The 9-year-old was the most seriously injured, and was taken to Intermountain Medical Center with critical head injuries. She has since been upgraded to fair condition, and transferred to Primary Children&rsquo;s Medical Center. The 10 and 14-year-olds were also taken to IMC for treatment of serious injuries that have since been upgraded to minor.</p>
<p>Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal said the driver was uninjured, and was cooperating with the police. He is believed to have not seen the crosswalk or the girls because he was sending a text message.</p>
<p>"It&rsquo;s a very sad reminder that texting while driving is extremely dangerous,&rdquo; Hoyal said.</p>

<p>Officers received a call about the two men around 10 a.m. When they arrived at the residence on South Dearborn Street, police attempted to contact the two men for questioning, but they ran away.</p>
<p>Police chased after the two men, and though one was able to elude them, officers were able to catch 32-year-old Clinton Duncan. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Duncan was booked into jail on outstanding arrest warrants and several charges, including fleeing from an officer.</p>

<p>Charlotte Mower disappeared in 2001. Mower, who was 36-years-old when she disappeared, was last seen crossing a street in Salt Lake City. She was reported missing by her sister in October 2003, according to Salt Lake City police.</p>
<p>In February 2003, human remains were found in the town of Needles, Calif. Over ten years later, improvements in DNA technology allowed officials to confirm that the body is that of Mower.</p>
<p>The SLCPD says that Mower&rsquo;s case is listed as active with the cold case unit of the San Bernardino County Sheriff&rsquo;s office.</p>
