Boy Riding Bike in Critical Condition after Being Hit by Truck

(SALT LAKE CITY) -- a 14-year-old boy was hit by

a truck while riding his bike Thursday night and is in critical condition, ABC affiliate KTVX-TV reports.

The boy was riding his bike home from a friend's house and was struck around 10 p.m. in Bountiful at 400 north 1000 East. The man driving the truck did not see him. The boy was flown to Primary Children's Hospital in critical condition.

Police said the boy was wearing dark clothing and did not have reflectors on his bike.
