Elderly Woman Hospitalized After Home Intrusion

(MILLCREEK, Utah) -- An elderly Millcreek woman remains hospitalized after she was beaten by intruders to her home on Sunday.
The violent attack reportedly happened around 1:15 a.m. at the home located on the 3700 block of Red Maple Road. Police say three suspects -- two men and one woman -- forced their way into the residence and began raining blows on the woman, who was in her bedroom at the time. During the attack, the victim's son awoke and was able to exit the house and call police.
The suspects -- one of whom was reportedly armed with a gun -- then fled the scene.
The victim is listed in critical condition.
