Park City Police Officer Injured After Motorcycle Hits Deer

(PARK CITY, Utah) -- A Park City police officer was injured when the motorcycle he was riding struck a deer, the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

The accident took place right before 11 p.m. Tuesday on Kearns Boulevard when the deer is believed to have run in front of the motorcycle. The officer's injuries included extensive bumps and bruises, but were not life-threatening.

The name of the officer has not been released.
