Rep. Jim Matheson Endorsed by Jon Huntsman Sr.

(SALT LAKE CITY) -- GOP businessman and philanthropist Jon Hunsman Sr. has endorsed Rep. Jim Matheson, who is Utah’s only Democrat in Congress, according to the Deseret News.

In a statement by Huntsman Sr., he believes Matheson “is a conservative ‘Blue Dog’ congressional leader from Utah.”

Matheson is running for the new 4th District seat against Saratoga Springs Mayor Mia Love, a Republican.
