Robbery Suspect at Salt Palace Arrested

(SALT LAKE CITY) -- A 30-year-old man was arrested after allegedly threatening a group of people at knife point at Salt Palace, The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Police say a man approached a group of people walking through the Salt Palace at 150 W. 200 South just before noon on Tuesday. The suspect aimed a silver object at the group and demanded money. They chased him out of the Salt Palace and flagged a police officer down, the paper says.

The man was arrested and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on suspicion of robbery, according to the Tribune.
