Toddler Who Fell from Third-Story Window Dies

(SALT LAKE CITY) -- Police say a 2-year-old boy who fell from a third-story window at an apartment building in West Jordan has died, ABC affiliate KTVX-TV reports.

The child has been identified as Nicholas Quirones. Police say the boy fell through a screen in a third-floor window of the apartment building on Campus View Drive and Cobble Ridge Drive at about 2 p.m. Witnesses said the boy fell into an open window well, and that paramedics performed CPR on him for almost 20 minutes.

The boy reportedly passed away Thursday evening.
