Two Arrested in Fatal Payson Stabbing

(PAYSON, Utah) -- Police have arrested two people in connection with a fatal stabbing in Payson on Wednesday.

The stabbing took place early Wednesday morning at a party at 644 North and 700 East. Investigators said William K.C. Wright, 36, held a party at his home and was stabbed during a dispute that broke out after Wright refused to allow at least one teenager into the party.

Keenan Thompson, 25, of Spanish Fork, was arrested and charged with murder and may face an additional charge of obstruction of justice. A 15-year-old boy has also been held and may also be charged with obstruction of justice, according to published reports.
