Two Boys Hit by SUV While Riding Bike in Payson

(PAYSON, Utah) -- Two boys remain hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle Thursday while out riding a bicycle.

The incident happened Thursday evening in the area of 1400 South and 930 West. Police say the two boys -- ages six and 12 -- were both riding on the same bicycle when they were struck by an SUV.

Both victims were taken to Mountain View Hospital for treatment, with the younger boy then being airlifted to Primary Children’s Medical Center.

The collision remains under investigation.
