(SALT LAKE CITY) -- Utah managed to maintain an unchanged rate of unemployment between April and May, the state's Department of Workforce Services announced Friday.
A report by the department stated that the unemployment rate in May stood at 6.0 percent, the same as it was a month earlier. This translates to approximately 81,100 unemployed workers in Utah, according to officials.
The national unemployment rate went from 8.1 percent in April to 8.2 percent in May.
