Author of New Book Says He Knows Who Zodiac Killer Is

(LOS ANGELES) -- The author of a new book says he knows who the Zodiac Killer is, ABC affiliate KABC reports.

The Zodiac Killer killed at least five people in the San Francisco Bay area in the late 1960s. Police and private investigators have looked into a number of possible suspects over the years, but no one has ever been arrested.

Former California Highway Patrol officer Lyndon Lafferty claims that the Zodiac Killer is a 91-year-old alcoholic who lives in Solano County. Lafferty, however, has not yet revealed the person's name.
