Over $3 Million in Marijuana Found Off California Coast

(DANA POINT, Calif.) -- Over $3 million in marijuana was found off the Dana Point, Calif. coast over the weekend.

Officials say U.S. Border Patrol Agents pulled 160 bales of marijuana from waters approximately 13 miles from the coast. The bales were reportedly spotted around noon Sunday by a boater, following which, the authorities were notified.

Officials say the bales weighed around 7,000 to 8,000 pounds total.
