San Francisco Restaurant to Serve Foie Gras Again

(SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.) -- A San Francisco restaurant situated on federal land says it's exempt from the state ban on foie gras and plans to serve it on Bastille Day, ABC affiliate KGO-TV reports.

The Presidio Social Club will begin serving foie gras again on July 14 for the French holiday.

Management of the establishment says that federal law trumps state law, and there is no federal ban on goose liver.
