Muni Bus Runs Over Man

(SAN FRANCISCO) -- On Thursday afternoon, a Muni bus ran over a passenger’s arm in Outer Richmond after he tripped and fell while exiting the rear doors, according to the San Francisco Gate.

The man in his 50’s was getting off at Cabrillo and La Playa from the 5-Fulton bus, when he accidently caught his foot in the gutter.

He lost his balance when the driver closed the doors, and the bus began to move. Fellow passengers tried to wave down the driver, but the man already got his arm trapped under the wheel.

The unidentified man is recovering at San Francisco General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
