(SAN JOSE, Calif.) -- A big-rig crash left one person dead Tuesday morning in Cupertino, ABC affiliate KGO-TV reports.

The accident occurred on Interstate Highway 280 shortly after 11 a.m. near the South Wolfe Road off-ramp. The California Highway Patrol said the big-rig apparently flipped onto its side, and left one person dead.

Two lanes of southbound Interstate Highway 280 remained closed this afternoon, and motorists are advised to find alternate routes.
