Vigil to Be Held for Officer Kenyon Youngstrom Wednesday Night

(SAN FRANCISCO) -- On Wednesday night, a vigil will be held for California Highway Patrol Officer Kenyon Youngstrom, ABC affiliate KGO-TV reports.

The officer was shot to death during a traffic stop last week on I-680 in Alamo.

The vigil will be in Ridgeview Park in Fairfield at 7:30 p.m.

According to Youngstrom’s family, his organs were donated to others, including a Bay Area mother, who received one of his kidneys and his pancreas. Another woman, 52, received his other kidney.
