Man Fatally Shot in Mission District

(SAN FRANCISCO) -- Police say a man was fatally shot in the Mission District Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. in the 1200 block of Treat Avenue. The victim, a man in his 20s, was suffering from a gunshot wound when he was found, and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released, pending notification of relatives.
