(SAN FRANCISCO) -- A man who kidnapped his children and kept them aboard a stolen yacht for three days was sentenced to three years in prison on Friday.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Christopher Maffei, 43, allegedly took his 2-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter from their South San Francisco home and brought them aboard a yacht stolen from an Alameda marina in September. The children were not hurt.
