'Inti' the Bobcat Moved to Public Space in San Francisco Zoo
(SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.) -- A 10-year-old bobcat named "Inti" who has lived out of the spotlight at the San Francisco Zoo for the past decade has been moved to a space where visitors can see him, ABC affiliate KGO-TV reports.
Zoo officials say Inti has lived at the zoo's Koret Animal Resource Center since 2002. As part of the zoo's efforts to repurpose underused exhibit spaces, they have moved him to the zoo's Cat Kingdom. His new home has been renovated and a large tree with cubby hole spaces has been added. There is also a heated rock for relaxation and a small pond.
His move marks the first time a bobcat has been on public display.
