(SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.) -- Lumosity, a San Francisco-based online brain training company, just released its list of the top 25 smartest cities in the country, and the Bay Area came in at number five, ABC affiliate KGO-TV reports.
Charlottesville, Virginia, took first place, followed by Lafayette, Indiana, and Anchorage, Alaska. Springfield, Massachusetts came in last at number 25.
The rankings are based on how well each city's users scored while playing problem-solving, memory and other cognitive-based games.
