San Francisco Housing Market Prices Rise

(SAN FRANCISCO) -- With new technology workers coming to San Francisco, the rental and real estate market is raising the housing market to new heights, according to the San Francisco Examiner.

Real Facts reports the average price for a monthly apartment lease is $2,734, which is up 12.9 percent since 2011. Other Bay Area cities like Oakland have an average of $1,835, up from 14.4 percent last year, and Pacifica has an average of $1,908, up from 15.6 percent last year.
