Three Fires Spark at Kelley Park

(SAN JOSE, Calif.) -- Three suspicious fires started just before 9 p.m. at Kelley Park Tuesday night, ABC affiliate KGO-TV reports.

Firefighters remain at the park, located at Roberts and Keyes Avenues, watching for hot spots. They put out another small grass fire early Wednesday morning. Authorities say two of the fires merged into one. Between 40 and 50 firefighters fought the blaze and got it under control within an hour.

No structures were threatened. Investigators are trying to determine if the fires are suspicious. They say a lot of homeless encampments are in the area.
