Two Injured in Early-Morning San Jose Fire
(SAN JOSE, Calif.) -- A fire at a San Jose apartment complex early Wednesday morning has left two people injured.
The blaze was reported around 4:30 a.m., with fire crews being dispatched to the complex located on Yolo Court. A woman who was in the building when the fire broke out, reportedly managed to make it out safely initially, but had to be rescued by authorities after she went back in to save her dog, ABC station KGO-TV reports.
The unnamed woman was treated for smoke inhalation, while a firefighter was taken to a local hospital for treatment to an injury to his leg, the station reported.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
