(PHILADELPHIA) -- The Philadelphia 76ers (15-51) lost their franchise record-tying 20th straight game on Saturday night, 103-77 to the Memphis Grizzlies (39-27).
Point guard Michael Carter-Williams led the Sixers with 23 points and eight rebounds while forward Thaddeus Young contributed 20 points, seven rebounds and six steals.
Philadelphia trailed by one at the end of the opening quarter, before Memphis pulled away in the second quarter, outscoring the Sixers 23-15 to take a nine point lead into half-time.
The last time the Sixers loss 20 straight games was in the 1972-73 season, when they finished 9-73. The NBA record for consecutive losses in a season is held by the 2010-11 Cleveland Cavaliers with 26.
