(SAN DIEGO) -- Kevin Pangos scored 26 points and Gary Bell Jr. added 17 to help eighth-seeded Gonzaga upend ninth-seeded Oklahoma State 85-77 Friday, in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
Five players fouled out, including two Cowboys starters (LeBryan Nash and Kamari Murphy), in a game that featured 61 fouls.
"Obviously we got in foul trouble which hurt us, especially with LB (Nash) not being in there and playing only 17 minutes," Oklahoma State head coach Travis Ford said. "That's not the greatest scenario for us."
Marcus Smart filled the stat sheet in his final college game with 23 points, 13 boards, seven assists and six steals for the Cowboys (21-13).
Gonzaga (29-6) advances to take on top-seeded Arizona on Sunday.
