(ARLINGTON, Texas) -- Dallas Cowboys rookie running back DeMarco Murray, the team's leading rusher, is likely out for the rest of the season after fracturing his ankle during Sunday's 37-34 loss to the New York Giants.
Murray was injured after being tackled in the first quarter. He had to be helped off the field.
Murray rushed for 897 yards this season, including a 253 yard performance against the St. Louis Rams.
