Bauer Leads Indians Over White Sox, 4-2 -- Indians starting pitcher Trevor Bauer (2-0) struck out eight batters over six innings of work as Cleveland (3-5) doubled up the Chicago White Sox (3-5) on Wednesday afternoon, 4-2.

Bauer allowed two earned runs on four hits and two walks. His ERA on the season is 1.50. Closer Cody Allen earned his second save of the year with a scoreless ninth.

With Cleveland staked to a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning, third baseman Lonnie Chisenhall took a 2-1 pitch from White Sox starter John Danks (0-2) and belted a two-run double. The Indians would tack on another run in the fifth on an RBI single from first baseman Carlos Santana.
