Bill Haas Wins in a Playoff at Riviera

Stephen Dunn/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES)  -- Bill Haas outdueled Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley in a playoff, to win the Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club.

Haas drilled a 45 foot putt on the second playoff hole to win it.

"I never expect to make a 40 footer. Especially in that situation," Haas said. "A little bit of luck involved, but I felt like I put a good roll on it, and it was meant to be I guess."

Haas will get a chance to continue his success Wednesday, when he tees off at the Accenture Match Play Championship.
