Blackhawks Acquire F Antonie Vermette from Coyotes

Christian Petersen/Getty Images(CHICAGO) -- The Chicago Blackhawks acquired forward Antoine Vermette from the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday for defenseman Klas Dahlbeck and a first round selection in this year’s NHL draft.

In 63 games with the Coyotes this season, the 32-year-old Vermette scored 16 goals and had 22 assists for 35 points.

During his 11-year NHL career, Vermette has suited up for the Ottawa Senators, Columbus Blue Jackets and Coyotes. In 815 regular season games, he has 194 goals and 236 assists for 430 points.

The 23-year-old Dahlbeck has played in just four games this season, scoring a goal against the Boston Bruins on Dec. 11. In 49 games with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League, he has 4 goals and 6 assists for 10 points.
