Brewers GM Addresses Braun Controversy

Robert Binder/MLB Photos via Getty Images(MILWAUKEE) -- At a press conference to announce the signing of free agent third baseman Aramis Ramirez, Milwaukee Brewers general manager Doug Melvin spoke about Brewers left fielder and reigning National League MVP Ryan Braun failing a performance-enhancing drug test.

"We're just doing business as normal," Melvin told reporters. "We're moving forward, you know, counting on Ryan being in the lineup."

Braun could be riding the pine for a while, as he faces a 50-game ban.  He is appealing the result of the failed test to an arbitrator.
