Broncos QB Manning Tosses 2 T-D's In Texans 18-17 Win

iStockPhoto/Thinkstock(DENVER) -- Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning tossed two touchdowns but Denver came up short against the Houston Texans on Saturday night, 18-17 in preseason football.

Manning’s first touchdown came with 1:17 left in the second quarter, when he found wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders on a 67-yard strike. Manning and Sanders would connect again 67 seconds later on a 29-yard touchdown pass.

The 13-time Pro Bowler finished the game 21 of 27 for 243 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.

The Broncos travel to Dallas this Thursday night to take on the Cowboys in their final tune-up before the start of the 2014 season.
