Buffalo Bills Release CB Terrence McGee

Tom Szczerbowski/Getty Images(BUFFALO, N.Y.) -- The Buffalo Bills released veteran cornerback Terrence McGee on Thursday, three days after the club cut linebacker Nick Barnett and safety George Wilson.

Buffalo originally selected McGee out of Northwestern State in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL draft. In 10 seasons with the Bills, the two-time All-Pro accumulated 522 tackles, 17 interceptions and three sacks.

The 32-year-old McGee has been slowed by injuries over the past few years, playing in only 22 games over the last three seasons.

“Terrence has been a contributor to the Bills organization for 10 years and we thank him for his efforts on the field and off,” Bills general manager Buddy Nix said in a statement. “We wish him the best of luck in the future.”

The Bills defense finished 22nd in the NFL last season.
