Chris Stewart Re-Signs with the Blues

A.J. Messier/NHLI via Getty Images(ST. LOUIS) -- The St. Louis Blues and Chris Stewart have agreed on a one-year contract.

The contract is worth $3 million according to True Hockey.

The 24-year-old winger has played close to a season-and-a-half with the Blues. The Colorado Avalanche traded Stewart and Kevin Shattenkirk to the Blues in exchange for Erik Johnson and Jay McClement, last February.

After scoring 53 points in 62 games between St. Louis and Colorado during the 2010-2011 season, Stewart disappointed some by only accumulating 30 points in 79 games this season.
