Durant Scores a Career High 51 as Thunder Win

Oklahoma City Thunder/NBA(OKLAHOMA CITY)  -- Kevin Durant scored a career high 51 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Denver Nuggets 124-118 in overtime, Sunday night.

"My teammates did a great job of setting me up, and I just tried to play strong," Durant said. "This team is always good at pushing me out farther to the three point line. I just wanted to make strong moves, and my teammates did a great job of finding me in good spots."

Not only did Durant score a career high, but the the Oklahoma City made history as a team. Point guard Russell Westbrook scored 40 points and forward Serge Ibaka had a triple double, making it the first time in NBA history that a teammates recorded a 50 point game, a 40 point game and a triple double on the same night.
