Ennis' Buzzer-Beater Keeps (1) Syracuse Perfect

Justin K. Aller/Getty Images(PITTSBURGH) -- Down by one with less than four seconds to play, Syracuse freshman Tyler Ennis hurried the ball up the court and nailed a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to keep the top-ranked Orange undefeated by beating No. 25 Pittsburgh 58-56, Wednesday night.

On Syracuse's previous possession, Ennis gave the Orange its first lead since the 14:02 mark of the first half when he calmly hit two free throws. Pittsburgh answered right back when Talib Zanna got fouled going up for a shot and hit both of his free throws. That led to Ennis' amazing shot that handed Pittsburgh its first loss ever (9-1) against a top-five ranked team at the Petersen Events Center.

Syracuse (24-0, 11-0 ACC) was led by senior C.J. Fair, who scored 14 points and grabbed four boards in the win. Michael Gbinije had seven points and four rebounds taking most of the injured Baye Moussa Keita's minutes.

Pittsburgh (20-5, 8-4 ACC) received 16 points and 14 rebounds from Zanna in the loss. Lamar Patterson added 15 for the Panthers which had their two-game winning streak snapped.
