ESPN: Mike Miller Joins James in Cleveland

NBA via Miami Heat (NEW YORK) -- Free agent forward Mike Miller is joining former teammate LeBron James in Cleveland.

The 34-year-old Miller agreed on two-year, $5.5 million deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers Tuesday that includes a player option for the second season, according to ESPN.com.

Miller played for Memphis last season after playing the previous three seasons in Miami with James.

"Thanks to Memphis for a great year!! But I'm so excited to be a part of the Cleveland family and their fans," Miller posted on Instagram. The only thing you can expect from me is everything I have! Thanks for the opportunity."

ESPN also reports that James aggressively recruited Miller, a career 41 percent 3-point shooter.

Miller, who was the fifth overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft, has played 14 NBA seasons. During that time he has averaged 11.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game.
