Falcons Sign Lowery and Wilson

Leon Halip/Getty Images(ATLANTA) -- The Atlanta Falcons signed safety Dwight Lowery and cornerback Josh Wilson on Tuesday. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Lowery was originally selected by the New York Jets out of San Jose State in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL draft. In 41 career starts with the Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars,  he has 180 tackles, ten interceptions and five forced fumbles. He missed 13 games last season because of a concussion he suffered during a game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sept. 22.

Wilson was selected by the Seahawks out of Maryland in the second round of the 2007 NFL draft. In 102 career games with Seattle, Baltimore Ravens and Washington Redskins, he has 399 tackles, five sacks and 14 interceptions.
