(LOS ANGELES) -- Dodgers shortstop Hanley Ramirez left Tuesday night's 4-2 win over the Rockies with a bruised right finger.
X-rays on the finger came back negative and Ramirez is listed as day-to-day.
"We're playing better, and you don't want to see one of your middle guys get hurt," Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said. "He was swinging well, and you don't want to see anything happen to anybody. We're getting close to getting back to full strength."
"Juan [Uribe] should be back soon, and you don't want to see it go back the other way," he added.
Ramirez is batting .260 with 11 homers and 42 RBIs this season.
