Heat Win 15th Straight

Ron Elkman/Sports Imagery/ Getty Images(MINNEAPOLIS) -- The Miami Heat did something on Monday they have never done in their history: they won a 15th straight game. The franchise record came when the team defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 97-81 at the Target Center.

"Any time you get an opportunity set a record, it's great for the organization and the guys involved," Heat forward LeBron James said. "But we want to keep going. We want to keep winning each game by itself. We don't talk about the streak, we just go to the next game and play it out. We look forward to the next one."

James scored 20 points and 10 rebounds, Dwyane Wade added 32 points and the Heat (44-14) held Minnesota to 37 percent shooting.

Timberwolves guard J.J. Barrea was ejected in the fourth quarter for a Flagrant-2 foul on Miami's Ray Allen. The Heat then went on a 17-5 run to put the game away.
