Heat Win 23rd Straight, Sneak Past Celtics

Christopher Trotman/Getty Images(BOSTON) -- Lebron James 21-foot jumper gave the Miami Heat the lead with 10.5 seconds left in the game, as the Heat survived a battle with the Boston Celtics, 105-103, to win its 23rd straight game Monday.

The win pushes Miami (52-14) past the 2007-08 Houston Rockets for the second longest winning streak of all-time. It is also the first time Miami has won a regular-season game in Boston in its last 11 attempts.

Still, this was not an easy win.

Boston (36-30) led most of the game thanks in part to Jeff Green who scored a career-high 43 points. Boston had a chance to win the game in the finals seconds, but Paul Pierce's three just missed.

James had 37 points, 12 assists and seven rebounds in the win.

Miami will look to extend their winning streak Wednesday night, when it heads to Cleveland to take on James' old team, the Cavaliers.
