(JACKSONVILLE, Fla.) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars signed their rookie quarterback Blake Bortles on Wednesday.
Bortles was drafted by the team with the No. 3 pick and signed a four-year contract worth $20.65 million.
"It's awesome," Bortles told Jaguars.com on Wednesday. "It's a once in a lifetime thing to sign your first contract, it's a cool feeling."
Chad Henne is scheduled to be the starter in 2014, but Bortles is taking everything in stride as he prepares for training camp in July.
"I'm trying to get better each and every day and trying to improve what I can do," Bortles told the website.
