Kalil Takes Out Newspaper Ad, Says Panthers Will Win Super Bowl

Al Messerschmidt/Getty Images(CHARLOTTE, N.C.) -- Carolina Panthers center Ryan Kalil took out a full page ad in Wednesday's Charlotte Observer, declaring that the Panthers will win this year's Super Bowl.

"CAROLINA PANTHERS - SUPER BOWL XLVII CHAMPIONS!," he wrote at then end of the ad.

The three-time Pro-Bowler will need his team to have quite the turn around to make his statement come true. The Panthers finished last season 6-10 and haven't won a playoff game since 2006.
