Lakers Sign Meeks and Ebanks

Ronald Martinez/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- The Los Angeles Lakers busy offseason continued Monday.

The Lakers signed guard Jodie Meeks to a two-year contract that is worth $1.4 million the first year and could be worth as much as $2 million the second year based on incentives according to his agent David Bauman.

The Lakers also signed forward Devin Ebanks to a one-year deal worth $1,085,000, according to Bauman, who is Ebanks agent too.

The 24-year-old Meeks is a career 37.1 percent three point shooter over his three NBA seasons. He averaged 8.4 points per game last season for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Ebanks, 22, has played both of his NBA seasons with the Lakers. During that time, he has averaged 3.6 points and 1.8 rebounds a game in limited action.
