(NEW YORK) -- After being stripped of his seven Tour de France titles last year, Lance Armstrong admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs in a taped interview with Oprah Winfrey on Monday, ABC News has confirmed.
For years Armstrong has denied reports that he used PEDs, even after his former teammate Floyd Landis confessed and implicated Armstrong.
Armstrong was stripped of his titles last October and banned from competition after the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency released a lengthy and detailed report on its investigation.
Armstrong and Landis have set aside a date to rebuild their relationship, according to sources that spoke with USA Today on Monday.
The interview set to air Thursday on the OWN Network.
