Marlins Make Offer To Pujols

Dilip Vishwanat/ESPN(DALLAS) -- The Miami Marlins have made a contract offer to free agent first baseman Albert Pujols, just days after agreeing to a six-year deal with free agent shortstop Jose Reyes and three-year deal with closer Heath Bell.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported the Chicago Cubs have also made an offer to Pujols. The St. Louis Cardinals are in the mix to re-sign Pujols, as well. The nine-time All Star has played his entire career in St. Louis.
